Duties and Responsibilities

• Use Dispatch Report to determine what jobs to setup next.

• Setup machines for operator

• Setup and adjust machines and tooling to ensure optimum production efficiency.  

• Ensure material, samples, and fixtures are at the machines for operators to begin work.

• Monitor and train operators regarding production techniques to ensure optimum production and quality efficiencies.

• Operate machines.

• Ensure that all ISO9001 procedures are being followed at work center.

• Identify and capture work instructions required to ensure the job operators are setup and run correctly and consistently.  

• Keep work center clean and orderly.

• Adjust work procedures to meet production schedule.

• Inform the Plant Manager about equipment and production problems.

• Check job cards when operators are complete.

Skills and Experience
• High school diploma or GED, Associates Degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred.
• 6 months - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; or a combination of education and experience.
