Account Executive

Job Summary

  • Demonstrates Tempco’s capabilities by using samples, plant tours, and emphasizing the benefits Tempco provides its customers.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts/work orders/job orders for purchase orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of Tempco’s production and delivery schedules. Stays within limits of Tempco’s MRP system.
  • Works with Senior Account Executive to keep all account and job activities up-to-date.
  • Coordinates customer training with Senior Account Executive when required.
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with customer purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
  • Attends trade shows when required.
  • Visits potential and existing customers as required.
  • Ensure that all ISO9001 procedures are being followed as it pertains to the job responsibilities.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
